The Girls Connected Fast Track is an NC Connected program that allows for 10 girls to receive accelerated training in web programming and other internet skills. At the completion of this program, each student will complete (and pass) professional certification exams in CSS, HTML, and Photoshop.

Shayln

Shayln is 16 years old and attended Boondocks Media School first in Enfield for 2 years and then in Rocky Mount for 2 years. She took a liking to web design and decided that she was interested in learning more. Shayln has been involved with NC Connected for 4 years and now works as a Junior Instructor.

Bria

Bria is 17 years old and has attended Boondocks Media School for the past 2 years. Bria wants to advance her skills and teach web design.

Shamone

Shamone is 17 years old and is a student that we taught at a Boondocks Media Camp in Rocky Mount. She took a liking to web design and decided that she was interested in learning more.

Manessa

Manessa is 16 years old and attended Boondocks Media School in 2009. She took a liking to web design and decided that she was interested in learning more.

DeeDee

DeeDee is 16 years old and is a student that we taught at a Boondocks Media Camp in Rocky Mount. She took a liking to web design and decided that she was interested in learning more.

KeeLee

Kelee is 16 years old and is a student that we taught at a Boondocks Media Camp in Rocky Mount. She took a liking to web design and decided that she was interested in learning more.
