Creating Web Designers, Social Media Experts, and Leaders
On Saturday October 17, 2009 NC Connected participated in the 2009 Chavis Heights Fall Technology Festival hosted by the City of Raleigh. The festival celebrated the arrival of broadband internet acess for all of the residents of the Chavis Heights community.
NC Connected students volunteered to work with the Chavis Heights residents helping them to access the internet and allowing them to practice basic computer skills.
Residents of Chavis Heights will celebrate the arrival of the Internet service in their community during a Fall Fest from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, at 750 Bright Creek Way in Chavis Heights.
