NC Connected donated 6 workstations for a computer lab at an after-school program in Lake View, SC called The Learning Experience Center. NC Connected Participates in Chavis Heights Fall Tech Festival
On Saturday October 17, 2009 NC Connected participated in the 2009 Chavis Heights Fall Technology Festival hosted by the City of Raleigh. The festival celebrated the arrival of broadband internet acess for all of the residents of the Chavis Heights community.
NC Connected students volunteered to work with the Chavis Heights residents helping them to access the internet and allowing them to practice basic computer skills.
