NC Connected offers week-long technology camps for girls and teens from at-risk communities across North Carolina. Students gain skills that last long after summer camp is over. This summer sponsor a Camp for the kids in your community

Our Weeklong Summer Tech Camps serve students Ages 10 - 17. Students build web pages using HTML, CSS, jQuery, PHP, and Photoshop. All coding is done by hand using Notepad.

Fall 2010 - Five NC Connected Students head to college campuses to begin their freshman year. We are especially proud of these girls because they were among the first groups of students that we ever taught and, quite frankly, they served as test subjects for curriculum development and best practices.

Katie Dadosky and Jamillah Tawwab are attending UNC-Greensboro; Martecia Gass is attending Fayetteville State University, Brittany Green is headed to a women's college in Virginia, and Ahsia Pettigrew is holding court at Meredith College.
